Daytime wear can be tricky when you're pregnant, but a few great basics will go a long way. In my maternity wardrobe, maxi dresses are considered part of the "basics" category just like maternity jeans and maternity yoga pants . . . A couple good ones are a MUST.
This color-block maxi dress from Pink Blush is insanely comfortable. It feels like I'm walking around in a soft, breezy nightgown with a fresh face of make up on! The rounded neckline brings the attention up and the elastic cinching under the bust keeps it tailored vs completely free-flowing. I paired it with a black leather bomber jacket, thin brown waist band, brown ankle boots and of course, the old school Ray-Ban sunnies.
I always emphasize versatility with Maternity Style Posts because you really want your pieces to cover a lot of ground. I don't know many women who love spending money on maternity clothes because in the end, they will just end up taking away precious closet space after sweet baby is born.
What I love about our maxi here is how many outfits one can create with a single dress. I love the above look for a cooler environment but it also bodes well in warm climates (like here in AZ) as a casual tank dress with flip flops and/or sandals.
